It has been a while since our last full update, so here is where each project stands.
Collaborations
In August we worked with Atmos Games on the launch of Twisted Tower, handling bug fixing, performance and optimization, save systems, and QA through launch and the updates that followed. We wrote about it in Twisted Tower Launch Support.
Bloodrust
Bloodrust is in pre-alpha on Spectre Engine, our in-house engine. The design has narrowed since our early posts: it is now an old-school first-person dungeon crawler with grid movement, real-time combat, a party of four, and one complete campaign.
Grid movement, combat, the party system, and the Ashwoods map are working. Current work is enemy variety, loot, and balance, followed by polish, Ashwood Outpost, and the ending. Playtest calls will go out through the newsletter, and you can wishlist Bloodrust on Steam.
DVD Survivors
Since launch, DVD Survivors has added DVDNET online play with 1v1 Duels, Endless Mode, macOS support for Apple Silicon, and a full weapon rebalance. The patch notes list every change by release.
Starboys
Development on Starboys is on hold. Movement, multiplayer, character customization, and the level builder all reached a playable state; matchmaking, the public server browser, and community map sharing did not. It's archived in the Vault until we pick it back up.
Tools
Spectre Pixelator is free for commercial use in the browser and on desktop, and Spectre PixelShop, our raster and pixel-art editor, continues development alongside Bloodrust.
